"Desert Light" oils are manufactured from organic healing plants grown locally in kibbutz Urim's fields. Essential oils are distilled during the summer, when the plant reaches its                      maximum yield. The plants are processed with steam, which separates the oil from the plant, and helps retain the medicinal properties of the oils. After the distillation 100% pure oil is bottled for sale.

The research and development of the oil production is being done in association with the Center for Research of Medicinal Herbs, Spices and Perfume in the "Nieve Y'aar" agricultural management unit.
