Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak in the Negev desert part of the "Eshkol Regional Council" was founded in 1949. It's named after Yitzhak Sadeh the commander of the Palmach, Today the population in Nir Yitzhak is about 600 People, combined from about 380 members & 220 childrens.
